Tonight, there’s a real sense of satisfaction and achievement in the air, as the Moon approaches Jupiter. Jupiter will enter Aquarius on January 5th and stay there for the rest of the year! We will be future-oriented, looking to inventing new technologies, putting resources into medical and scientific research. People will be looking for computer programmers and new media people. Jupiter’s energy really expands in exciting new ways and it has not been a happy camper on Capricorn’s constrictive turf, with the bear market and a dearth of investment opportunities. Now, it will rapidly expand and network like crazy. Philanthropic endeavors will also take off and people will get grants to help others. Hang in there, People!

Uranus Rules, Electricity Rules. Whole New Atmosphere! People are going to get loose and goofy, in anticipation of the Inaugural and a new climate of freedom. Everybody want to see CHANGE and are ready for it. Are we ready to kick out the old year and bring in the New Year? You better believe it!

TUESDAY DEC 30
The Moon continues in Aquarius, making no exact aspects.
This Tuesday we coast, having no expectations, and enjoying what it is. The Aquarius Moon does hip us to the good we can do by giving to others, distributing our wealth, our know-how, releasing our responsibilities and authority to others ready to move up. As we grow older, we’ll want to let go, not hang on, cutting back on the time, money and effort it takes to maintain what we have. Less is More and we may want to simplify our lives. This may be a great day to clean out the closets, Aquarius is all about recycling and redistribution.

We may be inspired by movies we’ve seen, group activities, socializing we’ve done and go to sleep tonight reflecting on our day and remembering to program our dream life.

People will be having a Talk-a-thon about their accomplishments this year, looking back at the financial follies, the fast ones the Bush Administration is pulling in the last days of his reign. That Was The Year That Was. Obama’s election and the exposure of the financial crisis. Both Mercury and Jupiter will shortly enter Aquarius.
SATURN/21º Virgo turns Stationary Retrograde 10:09 am, 1:09 pm
All this week, Saturn is Heavy. I have been remiss in not hipping you to Saturn’s stationary period earlier. It seems heavier than usual, probably because it is once again on my natal Saturn. Communications seem harder, harsher and more frustrating. Writing as well. So does getting organized. Consider The Source when it comes to criticism! Is that person not voicing their worries and pressures, are they carrying some unseen burden? Think twice before you criticize somebody else. Saturn/Virgo is particularly about health issues. Breathing and digestion issues come up, also struggles with education.
To all those great women at the Virgo Party in Bolinas, California, we have one more year of Saturn/Virgo before it finally enters Libra in 10/29/09, when it will square-off with Pluto. This is the last lap. Saturn will Retrograde all the way back to 14º Virgo on May 16th. It has been just plain hard. Lots of sacrifice, no applause. All we can do is hang in there and do the best we can and feel good about it.

Venus has rapidly zipped through Aquarius and everyone feels a special magnetism and spontaneous excitement today. Even so, we could feel it is time to change hats, as the outgoing Aquarius energy is fading fast.

Neptune Rules. We are up for dancing tonight! We are definitely up for partying, but go easy of booze and drugs, Party Animals! Pisces Moons tend to amplify their effects.
People can also get rather insecure with Pisces Moons, especially if they haven’t been connecting with their authentic feeling nature and been honest with themselves about how they really feel about their own words and actions and those of others.

People can get outrageous tonight! Keep a close watch on your wallet and purse tonight. The Pisces Moon might incline us to celebrate the New Year getting away from it all instead of merging with the raucous crowds. Some might do better going out with a bunch of friends rather than alone or only escorting their date. Mars/Pluto can bring out the bullies and opportunists. Yeah, figure on DUI checkpoints!

Late night energy? People feel pretty sexy, but dig that Mars/Pluto are only two degrees separated, so that those power trips and underlying violence are still there. Ladies, do be careful where you go! Someone best be strong enough to take the keys away from anyone who has had too many, or is out-of-control with anger or power trips.

NEW YEAR’S DAY

We are thinking about the future this morning. 2009 is not going to be easy for a whole lot of people. Many will be thinking of ways to raise money for those in the greatest need and for good causes. A New Year’s Resolution? Mercury/Aquarius will bring out the unselfish and generous part of ourselves. We will tend to speak spontaneously this month and could blurt out things we shouldn’t. Remember Aquarius distributes and that includes information. People also will move on doing things spontaneously and intuitively and will jump on news they hear. (Don’t forget that Mercury turns Retrograde on 1/11/09.)

Science, philanthropy, innovations and inventions attract us. We may have our ear to the ground to pick up on the next latest thing.
